Helpful Tips on Creating Positive Transformations
in Your Life
Self-Awareness Is The First Step Toward Change.
Remember the saying by Socrates, “A life not examined, is
a life not worth living”. When we are aware of a discrepancy
between where we are and where we want to be, we can begin the
process of transformation. We can think about what it is costing
us to stay in this comfort zone, versus what could be gained if
we stretch ourselves outside the limits imposed by our egos.
Try A Different Approach.
Albert Einstein stated, “Problems are not solved in the same
places they were created.” If we keep trying the same approach
to fix something, we are going to end up with the same results.
Try brainstorming new ways to problem solve and experience the
benefit of receiving new outcomes.
Feel The Power Of Choice.
Are you a survivor or a victim of life's circumstances? Growing pains are a part of life. How we choose to either react or respond to events is a choice.
Be Careful To Whom You Give Your Power.
By holding grudges, we allow others to control us. We waste energy
that could be spent in more healthy and productive ways. By detaching
from pain and blame and resentment, we free up our energy to
live more passionately. By forgiving the past, we are opening the
door to live more fully in the present and to create our dreams
for the future.
Self-Care Is The Key To A More Balanced You.
Remember the safety speech that the airlines always tell us before
take off…Put your oxygen mask on first, and then assist
anyone traveling with you who is incapable of putting the mask.
When we take care of ourselves, we are re-charging our batteries,
and have more energy and love to give to those around us. When
we set healthy boundaries and limits in our lives, we are putting
our needs first. This is an act of self-love, not of selfishness.

My Declaration of Self-Esteem
I AM ME
In all the world, there
is no one else exactly like me
Everything that comes out of me is authentically me
Because I alone chose it - I own everything about me
My body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions,
Whether they be to others or to myself - I own my fantasies,
My dreams, my hopes, my fears - I own all my triumphs and
Successes, all my failures and mistakes Because I own all of
Me, I can become intimately acquainted with me - by so doing
I can love me and be friendly with me in all my parts - I know
There are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other
Aspects that I do not know - but as long as I am
Friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously
And hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles
And for ways to find out more about me - However I
Look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever
I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically
Me - If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought
And felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is
Unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that
Which I discarded - I can see, hear, feel, think, say, and do
I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be
Productive to make sense and order out of the world of
People and things outside of me - I own me, and
therefore, I can engineer me - I am me and
I AM OKAY
